Governor Earl Ray Tomblin of West Virginia lauded the great work of CEF’s You Be The Chemist Challenge® at a press conference this past week.
In his address he thanked The Dow Chemical Company and their educational partners at West Virginia State University for bringing the Challenge to the state in 2015. Many great supports were also recognized, including professors and organizers who have helped to make the Challenge so successful. Governor Tomblin is thrilled with the interest in STEM education programs and plans to attend the upcoming State Challenge to support the brilliant competitors, one of whom will advance to the National Challenge in Philadelphia this June!
