Thanks for Visiting CEF!
The Chemical Educational Foundation (CEF) is a national non-profit organization that works with chemical industry members to foster a greater understanding of the value and benefits of chemistry, chemicals, and chemical safety awareness.

Created by the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), CEF strives to provide communities with programs and publications that educate on the benefits of chemicals and chemistry education. These programs include a fun chemistry Activity Guides for grades K-4 and 5-8, an exciting academic chemistry competition, and informative consumer and industry driven Bulletins that cover topics from chemicals in your home and proper paint use to classroom lab safety and industrial re-packaging.

The Foundation relies on various groups – chemical distributors and manufacturers, educators, local governments, and consumers to implement CEF’s mission nationwide. Use of CEF materials offers constituents the opportunity to participate on many different levels. From conducting an experiment in a classroom, distributing kits to children of company employees, nominating someone to one of CEF’s award programs or championing a regional academic competition – CEF is here to help you improve the ‘chemistry with your community!’
